Dawson Integrations Inc.

This Privacy Statement describes how Dawson Integrations Inc. (“Dawson Integrations,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, retains, and safeguards personal information in the course of its commercial activities, in accordance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy legislation.

This Statement applies to personal information collected through our website, client engagements, contracts, communications, and the provision of IT, integration, consulting, and related services.

“Personal information” means information about an identifiable individual, but does not include business contact information used solely for business communications where permitted by law.

  • Billing      and payment information
  • Project      documentation and service-related communications
  • Technical      data required to deliver contracted services

Information is collected directly from the individual, from authorized representatives, or as required to fulfill contractual obligations.

  

3. Purposes of Use

Personal information is used solely for the following purposes:

By entering into a service agreement with Dawson Integrations Inc. or by providing personal information to us, individuals consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of their personal information for the purposes described herein.

Consent may be withdrawn at any time, subject to legal or contractual restrictions and reasonable notice. Withdrawal of consent may impact our ability to provide services.

  

5. Disclosure to Third Parties

We do not sell, lease, or trade personal information.

  • Third-party      service providers (including cloud and IT service providers) engaged to      support our operations
  • Payment      processors and financial institutions
  • Legal,      regulatory, or governmental authorities where required by law

All third-party service providers are contractually required to maintain confidentiality and implement appropriate security safeguards.

  

6. Cross-Border Data Transfers

We use Microsoft 365 Business services provided by Microsoft Corporation for email, document storage, and collaboration. Personal information may be stored or processed in Canada, the United States, or other jurisdictions where Microsoft or its subprocessors operate.

Where personal information is transferred outside Canada, it may be subject to the laws of the foreign jurisdiction. We take reasonable steps to ensure comparable levels of data protection through contractual and organizational safeguards.

  

7. Safeguards

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information, including:

  • Role-based      access controls
  • Secure      cloud infrastructure
  • Encryption      and authentication measures
  • Confidentiality      obligations for staff and contractors

Despite these measures, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

  

8. Retention

Personal information is retained only as long as necessary to fulfill contractual and legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet regulatory requirements. When no longer required, information is securely destroyed or anonymized.

  

9. Access and Correction

Individuals have the right to request access to their personal information and request corrections where appropriate, subject to limited exceptions under applicable law. Requests must be made in writing.

  

10. Accountability

Dawson Integrations Inc. is responsible for personal information under its control and has designated a Privacy Contact responsible for compliance with this Statement and applicable privacy legislation.
